THE OBJECT OF EDUCATION IS TO TEACH US TO LOVE WHAT IS BEAUTIFUL.

PLATO'S REPUBLIC

Our Mission

We exist in order to provide classical, Christian education that  forms students to  display the surpassing goodness of Jesus Christ through thoughtful, articulate, beautiful, and virtuous lives.

PORTRAIT OF A GRADUATE

At Christ Academy, we're part of a long educational tradition whose goal is to teach students, not just what to know or do, but how to live. Research shows that graduates of classical, Christian schools are more likely to:

  • Be well prepared for college by their high school
  • Earn A’s or mostly A’s in college
  • Earn a BA or higher in college
  • Feel well prepared for a job
  • Pray and read the Bible regularly
  • Attend church and small groups regularly
  • Donate to their church
  • Volunteer for organizations that help the poor and elderly
  • Accept the authority of the church and church leadership
  • Feel an obligation to take action against wrong/injustice
  • Be involved in organizations outside their church
  • Read both religious and non-religious books
  • Have a number of close friends and interact with them regularly

Compared to other groups surveyed they also reported that they:

  • are less likely to feel helpless dealing with life’s problems
  • are less likely to feel that their life lacks clear goals or a sense of direction
  • are less likely to feel threatened by conflict in the public square
  • are willing to protest
  • are willing/able to make an impact on community and politics
  • have so much in life to be thankful for
