What is a Classical Christian education?

Classical education is a time-tested approach to learning that focuses on developing strong thinking, clear communication, and virtuous character. Instead of just memorizing facts, students learn how to think. 

It’s built around three stages of learning, often called the Trivium:

• Grammar – learning the basics: reading, writing, math, history and facts
  
  
• Logic – learning to reason, ask questions, and understand cause and effect
  
  
• Rhetoric – learning to express ideas clearly and persuasively, both in writing and speech
  

Classical education emphasizes great books, rich language, history, and thoughtful discussion.  Its goal is to cultivate curious, articulate, and well-rounded learners who love learning and are prepared to engage the world with a sense of purpose. Classical Christian education simply filters this framework through the lens of Christian truth, recognizing that every expression of goodness,  truth and beauty we encounter, finds its source in God.
